Your information.

When you join DUWA, we collect your first name, email address, email consent, and any flavor preference you choose. We use these to manage the Founding Members list and send the DUWA updates you request.

Votes and traffic sources

We store a random browser identifier to remember and update your flavor vote. If you join, your vote can be associated with your signup. We also record campaign tags, the referring website's hostname, and the landing-page path to understand how people find DUWA. Your browser identifier stays in local storage; signup records are saved on our server.

Member referrals

If you arrive through a member's share link, we remember that referral code in your browser for up to 30 days. On your first signup, we can associate you with that member. Their private member page shows a count of friends who confirmed their email, without names or email addresses. We do not count clicks as signups, and repeat signups do not create additional referral credit.

Confirmed members can request a private member-page link by email. That access link expires after 90 days. We temporarily remember it in the current browser tab so you can refresh the page. Keep the private access link to yourself; your member page supplies a separate public share link.

Email

New email signups receive a confirmation link before being added to our email audience. We use Resend to deliver email and manage contacts. You can unsubscribe through your DUWA email. Signing up is free and is not a purchase or preorder.

Service providers and access

Our hosting and email service providers process information needed to operate the site. DUWA's private founder dashboard receives summary counts, referral totals, and flavor preferences; individual signup records remain in the site database and email service. We do not publish your email or phone number in public voting results or member referral counts.

Retention and requests

We retain signup information while operating the Founding Members list and as needed to honor unsubscribe preferences. To request access, correction, or deletion, contact hello@duwanu.com. Existing phone-based signups remain stored; this form currently collects email only.
